KOFFEE KICK | Coffee brand Concept.

Most coffee beans in Indonesia are packaged in bags without visuals or even if doesn’t necessarily grasp the coffee itself. Ingredient list is good to know, but for people who don’t know much about coffee or are just getting into it, it can be deceiving as you don’t taste the ingredients much.
The idea behind this project was to reimagine what taste profiles should be marketed as. Taste in coffee is very much subjective and people have different palettes in which they enjoy their coffee. Through visual communication, the packaging can then embody and convey the atmosphere each bean possessed.
The idea is to create a visual imagery of the atmosphere that each coffee evoked. With AI art being new and trendy, experimenting with their perspective of emotion and feeling was interesting as it can be a whole new point of view.

Henri Matisse’s art style of figurative art and play on colours naturally appeals to the lightness of Arabica beans. Appealing to more youthful and creative consumers.
Every colour represents the atmosphere of each coffee bean.

Jenny Saville’s style of strong, provocative nature and bold colour compositions translates well into the richness of the Robusta bean. Every art piece on the packaging represents the atmosphere and feeling that each coffee bean evokes.
